At the end of each year, members are invited to submit their work into our annual competition. They can enter work into a range of categories.
SKEINS
Best Balanced Skein from fleece, commercial tops are not allowed
Best Balanced Exotic - can be spun from commercially prepared fibres
Best Silk Skein - can be spun from commercially prepared fibres
DYES
Most effective use of Natural dyes - can be a skein or an item (commercial white yarns can be used)
Best use of Chemical dyes - can be a skein or an item (commercial white yarns can be used)
WEAVING
Best Novice Weaver - not to have woven more than 6 warps
Best Advanced Weaver - Open to any pattern
Best Tapestry
THE REST
Best Hand Spun Lace - can be a knitted sample 6" x 6" or an item
Best Knitted using hand spun - can be a sample 6" x 6" or an item
Best Crochet using hand spun - can be a sample 6"x 6" or an item
Best Felted - wet or dry method using traditional fibres
